About Us

Nature’s Nook prides itself on being environmentally aware with the health and happiness of our fur family as top priority. We provide our litters with cognitive stimulation and copious amounts of play to ensure their social and mental development is top notch. Up until finding their new home, we focus on training the basics (sit, stay, and house training) to ensure an easy transition with their new family. On the off time, we spend our days gardening (in the summer), exploring new parks with our fur family, and bird watching. We, at Nature’s Nook, are environmental activists that focus on using green products within our household (most being EWG certified) for the best health for our fur family and planet.

About our Dog Breeding Program

We are proud that our focus is entirely on miniature dachshunds, as we do not breed any other type of dog. Our puppies are all born and raised in our home, and they are handled from birth. We only place puppies in qualified pet homes on a non-breeding contract.
